Sourcing and supply
Qualified material and component supply for electronics manufacturers, handled through our commercial desk.
Programmes
We build capability in phases. Each phase produces the evidence the next phase needs. Customers, suppliers and partners can take part from the first phase.
Four areas of activity
Qualified material and component supply for electronics manufacturers, handled through our commercial desk.
Commissioning, spares, preventive maintenance and remote diagnostics.
Diagnosis and engineering advice for HDI PCB and packaging problems.
Training linked to what each platform needs, so skilled people are ready before lines start.
The phases
Objectives, owners and a controlled source register.
Platform charters, capability stacks and supply chains.
Equipment installation, commissioning and readiness checks.
Production ramp, lifecycle services and new capability.
An activity counts as done only when its evidence exists, with the date and the responsible person recorded.
How progress is checked
Each measure has a definition, an owner, a source, a review frequency and a linked action. Examples: supplier qualification status, service response time, training completion and readiness by platform.
A dashboard without a linked action is a report, not a control.
The first 24 months
Our early trading and services programme runs from month 1 to month 24. It serves customers now and teaches us the market before our own lines start.
HDI PCBs and semiconductor components, sold through our commercial desk.
Equipment representation, spares, maintenance and engineering services for HDI and semiconductor lines.
From month 25, the long-term programme turns first orders into lasting relationships and brings demand into our own lines.
Eight stage gates
| Gate | Name | Evidence that closes it |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Strategic approval | Business case and board approval |
| 02 | Site selection | Location studies and technical evaluation |
| 03 | Land allocation | Legal checks and environmental studies |
| 04 | Master planning | Campus masterplan and utility strategy |
| 05 | Detailed engineering | Drawings and equipment specifications |
| 06 | Construction | Civil works, utilities and buildings complete |
| 07 | Commissioning | Equipment installed and processes qualified |
| 08 | Commercial operations | Production ramp and customer qualification |
A gate closes only when its evidence exists.
Fifteen years in three stages
| Stage | Years | Aim | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| I · Establish | 1 to 5 | Campus, HDI manufacturing, quality systems, skilled people, customer qualification | Planned |
| II · Expand | 6 to 10 | IC substrates and packaging, higher layer counts, automation and AI in the factory | Planned |
| III · Lead | 11 to 15 | More campuses, research and design work, new products across the value chain | Planned |
These are aims, not claims. Each stage starts only when the last one has shown its evidence.
Readiness gates (campus line)
Inside the eight project gates, the first campus line moves through seven readiness gates. Work passes a gate only when its conditions are met and signed off.
The programme office is set up and the plan is approved.
The site and the funding are secured, and the equipment list and layout concept are agreed.
Detailed engineering is signed off, permits are filed and long-lead machines are ordered.
Buildings and cleanrooms are handed over, machines pass site acceptance and utilities are live.
Each process is in control and the whole line runs internal test boards.
Customer samples are approved and the first product family meets its yield target.
The first paid production orders ship.
Until the line passes readiness gate 7, customers are served through the AMS network.
What we build over time
Alongside early commercial work through our commercial desk, we build the long-term base for HDI PCB and semiconductor manufacturing. Everything below is planned in stages and grows only as each stage gate is passed.
| Area | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Plant | Plant engineering, cleanrooms and controlled environments, air handling and utilities for the campus |
| Equipment and process | Equipment engineering, automation, robotics, controls, process and manufacturing engineering |
| Readiness | Production readiness, factory and customer qualification, commissioning, reliability engineering, quality, health and safety |
| Digital | Digital manufacturing, execution, product lifecycle and planning systems, digital twins, AI-assisted operations, industrial cybersecurity |
| People and knowledge | Knowledge capture, technical content, the academy, workforce development and technical certification |
| Growth | Technology roadmaps, partner integration, capacity expansion, export readiness |
Next step
We qualify every participant at intake, so commitments and service levels are clear from the start.
